1.Functions:

The Z47 type belt is a very usable conveyor belt for the baking industry. The belt has been specially designed to bake cookies directly on the belt in a direct feed oven. Its name is based on the Z shape of the flattened spirals.


The Z47 belt is a laminated metal spiral belt with light weight and reduced thickness. Its design gives the belt low thermal inertia, high resistance and good air circulation through the belt. This woven and layered belt gives an overlay of threads and an open mesh. The edges are curled.


The Z47 belt is designed to be durable and low maintenance.


The Z47 belt is made of specially selected carbon steel for a good even baking result and is mainly used in production processes with temperatures from +200 Celsius to +275 Celsius. On request, the belt can be made of stainless steel. The belt can be produced with widths of up to approximately 1400mm and lengths of up to approximately 300 meters.


The Z47 belt is used in cookie ovens around the world. Beside this Z47, there are also other Z47R specifications, different Z type belts differ in yarn thickness, mesh opening and weight.

3. Z47 type biscuit mesh belt maintenance

The Z47 belt requires minimal maintenance. The cleaning of the belt is more effective when increasing the temperature of the oven up to approximately 350°C. And that we brush the “product” out of the belt with a rotating brush. In the case of carbon steel belts, do not use water or steam with or without detergent for cleaning. It will make the belt rusty and the life time will be negative. Attention, during production or cleaning, the belt never passes directly into a flame. The high temperature of the flame causes the temperature of the belt to be much higher and may affect its quality.
